Galia Albin
Mrs. Galia Albin is one of Israel's leading businesswomen, and a trailblazer for Israeli women in business. She is a born entrepreneur, holds a law degree from Tel Aviv University, Bachelor and Master Degrees in psychology from Northwestern University and an MBT from Harvard Business School. Mrs. Albin is a mother of four and lives in Israel.Mrs. Albin is highly involved in Israeli public life and active in a number of organizations in the fields of welfare and the arts. As well as being an advocate of women's rights in Israel, she is also chairperson of the National Council for the Child, chairperson of the governmental committee on the Economics of Information and one of the founders of Jasmine, the economic forum for Arab and Jewish businesswomen in Israel. She is also active in the World Women's Forum.
Mrs. Albin has previously served as chairperson of the Business Forum, the Prime Minister's Advisor on the status of women and chairperson of L.O. Combat Violence against Women.
Mrs. Albin also hosted the daily television show, The Club. She has published two books - the bestselling Love Triumphs, and Happiness Triumphs - which was adapted for television. Since 1985, she has been the owner and chairperson of Almedia Holdings, which invests in the worlds of finance, real estate and technology.
